Viewing will be from 2 until 5 on Thursday. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Cecilia Holt and Rev. Dwight Haynes officiating. Interment will follow in East Dickson Cemetery.
Albert Leroy Pollard, age 77 of Dickson, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home. Born in Dickson County, Albert was the son of the late Walter James and Julia Elizabeth Collier Pollard. He was a retired carpenter with TVA in construction work. He was a member of the Original Church of God in Dickson.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle R. Pollard, Dickson; two sons, Anthony Ray Nunley (Teresa), and Michael Leroy Pollard; and one daughter, Della Louise Pollard Smith, all of Dickson; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, and “Uncle Papa’s” three special blessings, Xavier, Joel, and Jada.
