Mrs. Smith died October 10, 2015 in Dickson Healtcare Center after a lenghty stay.
She was born in Dickson County on July 20, 1925. She was the youngest and last surviving child of Robert and Frances Eli Hagood. Her siblings were Cassie H. Molre, Madge H. Daniels, Page H. Holloran, and Hardy Hagood.
Mrs. Smith graduated from Dickson High School, Class of 1942, and worked for the L & N Railroad and as a bookkeeper for various local firms.
She was preceded in death by her young son, Charles W. (Buddy) Smith.
Her remains have been cremated and privately buried. No memorial services are planned.
