Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 14, 2018, at noon from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Thomas Southerland will officiate. Place of rest will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Water Street Church of Christ in Charlotte, TN.

Amber, age 42, of Dickson, TN died suddenly December 6, 2018, in Massachusetts.

She was born in Dickson County, Tennessee and was the daughter of Don Vares and Jackie Edmisson Rhodes. She attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville and was a former administrative assistant for Knoxville Blue Print. Amber attended the Water Street Church of Christ with her family. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Mr. Tommy Edmisson and Mr. Endel Vares.

Amber loved animals, music, and gardening. She enjoyed the outdoors and taking daily walks in God’s beautiful nature. Amber was an avid reader and loved horror movies. She adored her family, especially her niece and nephew and loved any minute she got to spend time with them.

Survivors include her mother, Jackie Edmisson Rhodes of Dickson,TN; her father, Don Vares and his wife, Jeanne of Newton, MS; her sisters, Ashley Vares Ragland and her husband, Michael of Greenbrier, TN and Arrah Elizabeth Addison and her husband, Jeff of Burns, TN; her special friend, Paul Gardikis of Dickson, TN; her grandmothers, Mrs. Delores Edmisson and Mrs. Earline Vares; her nieces and nephews; Tanner Addison, Avery Addison, Hannah Ragland, Reid Ragland and Bailee Ragland, her half-sister, Phebe Morgan of Arizona; her step-brothers, Nathan Cumberland and David Cumberland both of Mississippi, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Casket bearers will be Willie Speight, Trent Batey, Noah Edmisson, Chase Edmisson, Seth Williams, Casey Patrick, and Tanner Addison.
