Funeral services will be Sunday October 25, 2015 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Smart officiating. Place of rest will be in the Gillin Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday October 24th from 3 to 8 PM.
Mrs. Betty Jean “Judy” Adcox, age 70 of Dickson died Wednesday October 21, 2015. She was the daughter of Emma Jean Vaughn Qualls of Dickson and the late James Robert Thomas and was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Alton Thomas. She was the owner of the former Piccadilly Restaurant and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Along with her mother she is survived her daughters, Shelley Spann (Sammy) of Dickson, B.J. Hanson (Jason) of Burns; companion, Tom Adkins of Dickson; husband, Billy Walker Adcox of Dickson; brother, Gregg Stinson of Dickson; sister, Melba Weaver of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Shirley Thomas of Burns; grandchildren, Alexandria Spann Parris (Ryan), Kaitlyn Spann, Warren Hanson.
