Born in Hendersonville, NC he was the son of the late Fred Williams Richards, Sr. and Mary Edwards Richards and was preceded in death by his son, John Ross Tecumtha Richards. Mr. Richards worked as a welder.
Survivors include his wife, Carla Janet Anders Richards of Lobelville, TN; sons, Lobo Richards (Cynthia) of White Bluff, TN, Rebel Richards of Lobelville, TN, Joseph Richards (Tanya) of Lobelville, TN; sister-in-law, Crystal Hope Richards of Lobelville, TN; several sisters and a brother; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
