Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Bailey officiating. Visitation with the family will also be held on Wednesday, January 13 from 12 noon until the time of service.
Bobbie Rae Bottoms, age 80, of Burns, passed from this life on January 8, 2021. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 17, 1940 to the late John Robert and Elsie Hines Bottoms.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jeannie Robison Bottoms; his infant son: Matthew Bottoms; and his siblings: Ronnie Bottoms, Stanley Bottoms, Art Bottoms, and Shirley Haga.
Survivors include his children: Dennis Tyre of California, Emit Bottoms (Joyce) of Texas, Shawnae Bottoms of Burns, Hazel Dooley of McEwen, Jenny Harrison of Burns, Lawnia Gonzalez of Texas, and Brenda Clark (Jay) of California; his sisters: Sue Bottoms of Louisiana and Wanda Bottoms of Arkansas; his brother: Larry Moore of California; grandchildren: Tabatha Maddow (Danny) of Dickson, Brandon Richards (Heather) of Kentucky, Dennis Bottoms, Jr. (Jessica) of Fairview, Dustin Bottoms (Kaitlin) of Dickson, Brian Dooley, Billy Dooley, Angel Buckley of California and Ashley Baugess (David) of Texas, as well as many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
