Date of Service

Bobby Dale Raines, age 71 of White Bluff, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his home.  He lived simply, without fanfare, so no formal services are planned at this time.

Born in Nashville, Bobby was the son of the late Percy A. and Margaret Wright Raines. He retired as a contractor in the home construction industry.  Some of his favorite things in life were fishing, building things, and helping others.  He loved being “handyman” to his family, friends, and neighbors.  He had a gift for being able to fix just about anything, and he enjoyed supplying his “helping hands” to friends and neighbors.  He had a heart for the Child Advocacy Center and on many occasions, he built cedar chests to be auctioned off for charitable purposes.  He loved his family and he loved pets of all kinds.

Bobby was happily married to his wife of 45 years, Margaret “Lisa” Davis Raines, of White Bluff, TN.  He is also survived by his daughter, April Rolston (Jonathan) of Bon Aqua, TN; his daughter-in-law, April Raines of Ashland City, TN; his four grandchildren, Joshua Rolston, Jada Rolston, Ryan Raines, and Evan Raines; his siblings, Brenda Evans of Springfield, TN, Beverly Faulk of White Bluff; Monica Corbin (Ronnie) of Donelson, TN; Larry Raines (Brenda) of Fairview, TN; Percy Raines of White Bluff, and Terry Raines (Vicky) of Shelbyville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his son, Bobby Dale Raines, Jr. and by siblings, Janice Peay, Sarah Louise Raines, and Johnny Raines.
