Brenda Eubank Peeler, age 82, died peacefully November 2, 2025.

Brenda was born in Dickson County and was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Evelyn Orgain Eubank.ย  She was educated in Dickson County Schools and graduated from Charlotte High School in the 1961 class. ย After high school she married James Peeler and they have been married for 64 years.

Brenda was the owner of Hodges Jewelers in Downtown Dickson where she has spent most of her life, beginning at a very early age. She has dedicated her life to the store and its customers for some 75 years. Throughout the years Brenda was involved in the community.ย  She was a former president of the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce, Brenda was very active in her church, serving on various committees and in the early years she and James loved working with the MYF of the church. In earlier years Brenda enjoyed and took pride in working with young girls and assisting them with beauty pageants in Tennessee. She was a lifelong Methodist starting with her church in Charlotte and after marrying James they made their church home in Dickson at the First Methodist Church.

Brenda was a pianist and organist and loved her music. She was a student and graduate of the longtime piano teacher in Dickson, Mrs. Nell Miller. Brenda was called many times to play for funerals, and other special occasions. She, for many years, shared her talents with her own piano students.

Brenda was a beautiful person inside and out. She was quick-witted and could easily be involved in some Main Street shenanigans, especially with the late Tommy Hodges. Brenda loved life and could grace you with her beautiful smile anytime of the day under any circumstance.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 64 years, James Peeler, her brother Dan Eubank and his wife Mary, her sister, Barbara Jones.
