Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Ruth Herrell, age 58 of Cumberland Furnace will be Saturday September 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy Church with Bro. Ed Kephart and Bro. Richard Hughes officiating. Place of rest will be in the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday September 6th from 2 to 8 PM and from 11 AM until time of service at the Church. Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Herrell died Wednesday September 4, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center. Born in Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Frances Nebblett Clark and was preceded in death by her husband, George Bradley Herrell. She worked as a School Bus Driver in Dickson County and Montgomery County. She attended the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her sons, David Bradley Herrell and Danny Earl Herrell (Jennifer) all of Cumberland Furnace; daughters, Lisa Darlene Zepeda (Rodolfo) and Lacey Jane Herrell all of Cumberland Furnace; brothers, Roy Clark, Cleveland Clark and Buford Clark all of Cumberland Furnace, Edward Clark of White Bluff; sisters, Shirley Adkins of Clarksville, Rhoba Herrell of Cumberland Furnace, Rebecca Walker of GA, Sandra Tate of McEwen; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
