Caroline Gafford Jones Denton, age 89 of Southaven, MS formerly of Dickson County died January 14, 2013 at the Landmark of DeSoto Nursing Home in Hornlake, MS. Memorial services for Mrs. Caroline Jones Denton were held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Kephart officiating. She was born February 8, 1923 in Dickson County. She was a Daughter of the late Marshall and Melinda Choma Vangafford.
She formerly attended the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Denton is survived by her Husband, Jesse Denton of Cunningham, TN; 2 Sons, Richard H. Jones Jr. of Southaven, MS and Larry Denton of Clarksville, TN; Daughters, Tammy Denton of Orlando, FL; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
