Mrs. Sloan was born on September 19, 1947 in Haskell, Texas. She was a daughter of the late Watsel Sterling Hise and the late Joyce Virginia Bouldin. Charlotte was a retired federal court reporter.
Mrs. Sloan is survived her husband, William Bozeman Sloan; her sister, Sharon Reynolds (Johnny) of Graham, TX; several cousins.
