Funeral services for Mrs. Cheryll Margaret Peters Long, age 62 of Burns formerly of Nashville was conducted Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Dudley officiating. Place of rest is in the Liberty Cemetery. Cheryll, a retail accountant, died Saturday December 8, 2012 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. A native of Royal Oak, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Claudia Mae Dudley Peters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Percy Freeman Long Jr.
Survivors include her three daughters, Cur Rhonda Long of Nashville, TN; Arnita Ozgener and husband Tim of Brentwood, TN; Pamela Jo Groves of Melbourne, FL; four brothers, Ronnie Stinson of Dickson, TN; Buddy Peters of Dickson, TN; Walter Peters of Dickson, TN; Randy Peters of Dickson, TN; two sisters, Claudine Batson of Triune, TN: Sandra Parchman of Dickson, TN; six grandchildren, Joey Hare; Christopher Hathaway; Bobby Galinis; Trisha Little; Evan Ozgener; Aidan Ozgener; three great grandchildren, Joshua; Kayle; Michelle; several nieces and nephews.
