Mr. Chester Morgan Williams age 89 of White Bluff, TN died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Hillcrest Health Care in Ashland City, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Chester Williams were conducted Wed. morning, August 22, 2012 at 11 AM from the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Gary Riley officiating.
Place of rest is in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy. Mr. Williams a retired timber worker, formerly worked with the Forestry Division with the State of Tennessee with 12 years of service, also a carpenter and former employee of the former Dickson County Nursing Home. He faithfully worshipped at the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy. He joined that family on Dec. 29, 1996. Born in Dickson County, he was the son of the late Andy Newton and Nobie Proctor Williams.
He was preceded in death by his Son, Charles Ray Williams; His Grandson, Wendell Keith Williams; His Brothers, Sylvester Williams, Joe Williams, Robert Williams, James Williams, and Lloyd Williams; His Sister, Willie Mae King. Survivors include his Sons, Chester Larry (Carole) Williams of White Bluff, TN, Daniel Newton (Pam) Williams of White Bluff, TN; His Daughter, Carolyn (David) Vandivort of White Bluff, TN; His Brother, Zollie Williams of White Bluff, TN; His Sister, Mrs. Dorothy (Reuben) Buttrey of White Bluff, TN; His 11 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; and Several Great Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.
