Funeral services for little Cooper Lane Parker, age 8 months of Nunnelly, will begin at 1 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Sesler officiating. Interment will follow in the “Babyland” section of Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Born in Nashville on June 26, 2019, Cooper Lane was the son of Alesha Parker and Eugene Young. He will long be remembered by friends and family and the many, many acquaintances whose lives he touched during his short life on this earth. Now he can forever run and play in Heaven without the need of needles, tubes, and medical constraints. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the Nashville Ronald McDonald House, which has served as a home away from home to his mother and family. This can be done through the funeral home office or directly with the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville.
He is survived by his parents, Alesha Parker and Eugene Young, Nunnelly, TN; his siblings, Jaden, Trevor, Bella, Lilly, Tristan, and Wayland; his grandparents, Tim and Lori Booker, Peggy and Wayne Gourley, and Tony Young; aunt and uncle, Paige and Corey Dedman; and uncle and aunt, James and Miranda Young.
