Mr. Coy N. Simmons, age 61 of Dickson died Thursday, September 6, 2012. A memorial service for Mr. Coy N. Simmons was held at 5 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Mr. Simmons was born May 3, 1951. He worked for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 369.
Survived by parents, Anne and Coy R. ‘Soretoe’ Simmons, Dickson; two sons, Aaron Simmons and his wife, Anne, Burns, TN and Cliff Simmons, Dickson; one daughter, Lydia Simmons, Kansas City, MO; brother, Clifford Simmons, Dickson; three grandchildren, Paul Karen and Rachel Simmons.
