Miss Darah Frances Bateman, age 79 of Slayden, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Dickson Health and Rehab. Visitation with the family will be at Slayden Church of God of Prophecy on Friday, December 4th from 12 noon until service time. Funeral services for Darah Frances Bateman will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, December 4th from the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Richard Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Born in Dickson County, Darah was the daughter of the late Greene and Tina Mae Miller Bateman. She was a homemaker and a member of Slayden Church of God of Prophecy. Her brothers, John, Odell, and Roy Bateman predeceased her.
Survivors include her brother, Billy Ray Bateman and his wife, Carrie, Cunningham, TN; three nephews and one niece.
