Graveside memorial services and interment of ashes for Diann Cecele Simmons Donegan, age 79 of Dickson, will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Fielder Cemetery on Piney Road, Dickson. Diann died Monday, August 23, 2021 at NHC, Dickson.
Born in Haddam, Kansas, Diann was the daughter of the late Cecil J and Mina V. Ward Simmons. She retired as an accountant for the State of Tennessee. She loved her family friends.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Wayne “D. W.” Donegan, Dickson; her daughter, Cathy Walls (Lonnie), Dickson; her sons, James P. Hughes, Jr. and Mark A. Hughes (Tracy), all of Missouri; a sister, Vickie Gibson, Arkansas, and Richard Simmons, Missouri; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
