Mrs. Dollie Ann Duke Rice, age 103 of Charlotte, TN died Dec. 4, 2013. Visitation with the family will be Thurs. Dec. 5th from 4 PM until 8 PM and Friday beginning at 10 AM until time of service. Funeral services for Mrs. Dollie Rice will be conducted Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Brown officiating. Place of rest will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs Rice was a retired nursing tech. Born in Lyles Tennessee she was the daughter of the late Robert Green and Ella Vertrice Hunter Duke. She worked with the former Baptist Hosptial in Nashville and later worked with the former Dickson County Nursing Home. She had a great love for fishing and she was just a natural care giver, giving care to her family members and friends. She was of the Methodist Faith and the widow of the late John Douglas Rice who died in 1983.
Survivors include Her Daugher, Billie M. Reeves of Charlotte, TN; 2 Grandchildren, Michael Reeves and Andrea Spence; 3 Great Grandchildren, Stephanie Reynolds, Atasha Tucker, and Kerry Donnell; 7 Great Great Grandchildren and Many nieces and nephews.
