Funeral services will be Friday December 4, 2020 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Rock Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday December 4, 2020 from 12 PM until time of service.
Donald Wayne Overton, Sr., age 75 of Dickson, TN died Monday November 30, 2020. Born in Dickson, TN he was the son of the late Thomas Corlew and Ida Elizabeth Potts Overton. Donald was a retired Boat Mechanic and was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Overton of Dickson, TN; sons, Donald Wayne Overton, Jr. of Charlotte, TN, Joseph Overton of Dickson, TN; daughters, Rebecca Darlene Osborn of Charlotte, TN, Tamara Kaye Conley of Knoxville, TN; brother, John Overton of Oregon; sisters, Marie Sawyer of Dickson, TN, Florene Sipes of Jackson, TN, Martha Owen of Dickson, TN; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
