Dorene Lynne Pine, age 62 of Fairview, passed from this life on March 1, 2026, at her home. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Fairview with Pastor Kevin Morse officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Place of rest will be Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Dorene was born on September 3, 1963, to the late Eugene and Doris Healey Johns in Bellflower, California. She earned bachelor’s degrees in French and International Business at Cal State University in Fullerton.
Dorene worked for the World Trade Center Association and Chuck Swindoll’s ministry, Insight for Living. As the family grew, she focused her efforts on home making and home schooling her four children.
Dorene was also a faithful member of Grace Fellowship in Columbia, where she was a great counselor and mentor to the younger ladies in her church.
She leaves behind her soulmate of over 39 years: Kevin Pine of Fairview; her children: Dylan Pine (Jennifer) and Tori Stein (Jake) both of Ellenton, FL, Grant Pine (Marianne) of Firestone, CO, and Lauren Roberts (Will) of Columbia, TN; her sisters: Regina Fernandes of Fairview, TN and Roberta Morrison (Mark) of Estill Springs, TN; and her grandchildren: Kaitlynn Wallace, Logan Pine, Alexandra Pine, Kaden Stein, and Jaxon Stein.
