Mr. Mullinicks died Wednesday, May 31st at his home. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

Born in Waverly, Tennessee, Eddie was the son of the late Cecil and Aileen Burns Mullinicks. He was a retired, self-employed heavy equipment operator. Even though he was disabled, Eddie liked to “tinker” and was known to his neighbors as the guy who could fix anything—tractors, 4-wheelers, lawn mowers—he was even able to “diagnose” mechanical problems over-the-phone and could tell the owner what to do to fix their problem! For as long as he was able, he loved fishing and hunting. Where someone else enjoyed golfing or bowling, his past-time was keeping busy. In his down time, he enjoyed watching older television shows such as Andy Griffith or In the Heat of the Night, or he enjoyed listening to country music.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Fielder Mullinicks of Dickson; children, Josh Covington (Brittany) of Dickson, Leah Hodges (Jeremy) of White Bluff, Tiffany Flatt (Jeff) of Bon Aqua, and Brian Mullinicks of Charlotte; his brothers, Gary Mullinicks (Ruthie) of Dickson and Jeff Mullinicks of McEwen; his sisters, Rita Vineyard (O’Neil) and Pam Boren (Dennie) both of Dickson; eight grandchildren, Madison, Makaiya, Chandler, Ethan, Gavin, Gracey, Noah and Hunter Lane; and a multitude of friends and other relatives.
