Born in Pegram, Ed was the son of the late Silas Hooper Hutchison and Elizabeth Ann O’Brien Hutchison. He was a truck driver for Eubank Paving Co. Ed’s greatest love was family and friends. He loved the outdoors – fishing, hunting, outdoor cooking for the family—even at his death, he had just put his boat in the water for a morning of fishing. He also enjoyed music and dancing, horses, and vegetable gardening. And he always kept his vehicles clean and mechanically sound!
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Hutchison; a daughter, Angela Hutchison; and by three sisters, Jane Johnson, Clara Mai Williams, and Loreen Dorton.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Hutchison of Dickson; a son, Steve Hutchison (Kelly) of Pegram; a daughter, Judy Hardaway (Kelly) of Murfreesboro; a step-daughter, Paula Webb of Kingston Springs; grandchildren, Amy Sanchez (Marc), Kyle Douglas (Crystal), Hunter Hutchison (Allie), and Houston Hutchison (Hannah); step-grandchildren, Cody Webb (Katie) and Cole Webb; seven great-grandchildren.
