Cryptside services for Elizabeth “Libby” Faulkner Powers, age 83 of Dickson will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 from Dickson County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Visitation with the Family will be at Taylor Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 12 noon prior to meeting at the cemetery at 1 p.m. for the service. Mrs. Powers died Monday, March 25th at Dickson Health and Rehab. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Born in Greenville, SC, Libby was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lula Dove Brown. She was a retired U. S. Government Supervisor Machinist for Nuclear Plant Y-12 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Dickson.
Survivors include three sons, Danny O’Neal (Connie), Dickson, David Faulkner, Dickson, and Don E. Faulkner, Ft. Myers, FL; a brother, Peter Brown (Karen), Calera, AL; two sisters, Peggy Gibson (Sidney), and Nellie Hall, both of Oak Ridge, TN; four grandchildren, Ian Faulkner, Colin Faulkner, Whitney Hogan (Angelo), and Christi Lux (Nathan); great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Marsh and Solomon Lux; several nieces and nephews.
