Graveside services for Mrs. Elsie Garton Simmons, age 87 of Nashville formerly of Dickson will be Thursday February 5, 2015 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Prayer Mausoleum at Dickson County Memorial Gardens with The Very Rev. Raymond Kasch officiating.
Mrs. Simmons died Sunday February 1, 2015 at NHC Health Care. Born in Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary Elizabeth Davidson Garton and was preceded in death by her son Gary B. Bledsoe. She was a retired Interior Decorator and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband Ruffner Simmons of Nashville; beloved Maltese, Mitzie; step-son, Robert Simmons; 2 grandchildren; special friends, Danny and Angie Donegan of Dickson.
