Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Dickson County Memorial Gardens for graveside funeral services. Pastor Wes Sesler will officiate. Visitation will be Friday evening December 20th at Taylor Funeral Home between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Those desiring memorials are suggested to Alive Hospice or to the Dickson County Humane Society. Emily Spencer Farrar Jackson, wife of the late Dr. Bill Jackson, died peacefully at her home on December 16, 2024.
Emily was born in Davidson County and was the daughter of the late Ralph Murphy and Freida Ann Spencer Farrar and was preceded in death by her son, John Jackson. She attended and graduated Dickson County High School and married the love of her life Bill Jackson. She was of the Christian faith.
Emily was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. Emily was a gracious, beautiful and quiet spirit inside and out. Emilly was always complimenting those that she encountered.
Emily is survived by her children, Caroline Jackson of Dickson, TN, Spencer Jackson and his wife Irene of Dickson, TN; 6 grandchildren, Adam Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Lauren Jackson, Ashton Jackson, Emma Jackson and Lila Cole; 2 great grandchildren; her four legged fur babies, Sweetie, Felena and Bob.
