Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the East Dickson Cemetery. Viewing and visitation with the family will be on Wednesday April 15th at Taylor Funeral Home beginning at 10 a. m. until time of graveside service. Military honors will be observed at the gravesite.
Mr. Ewell, age 86, of Dickson,TN died April 9, 2015 at NHC after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Columbus, Mississippi to the late Luna I. and Clara West Ewell. He was retired from Schrader’s where he worked on the auto parts assembly line and previous worked with Whirlpool Corporation. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Survivors include his five sons; Fred Robert Ewell, Jr. (Jackie) of San Diego, CA, Calvin Ewell (Iris) of Atlanta,GA, Stanley Ewell (Rayna) of Hazelwood, MO, Louis Ewell (Linda) of Houston,TX, and Vaughn Ewell of Hazelwood, MO. his brother; Clarence Ewell of Miami, FL, his 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews.
