Funeral services will be Thursday June 8, 2017 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday June 7th from 2 to 8 PM.
Mr. Garland Neil Heggie, age 80 of Kingston Springs, TN died Sunday June 4, 2017. Born in Dickson County, he was the son of the late, William F. and Zelma Wall Heggie and was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Nancy Marlene Gill Heggie, his daughter, Sherry Heggie Edwards; brothers Graci and Robert Joe Heggie; sister, Emma Jean Winstead. He worked building furniture and doing upholstery work. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his sons, Ronnie Heggie of Kingston Springs, TN, Andy Heggie of Dickson, TN; daughter, Karen Heggie Clark of Kingston Springs, TN; brother, Herbert Heggie of Dickson, TN; sisters, Mable Anderson of Illinois, Betty Sue of Florida; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
