Graveside and Masonic services will be conducted Friday May 22, 2020 at 2 PM at Union Cemetery with Pastor Mike Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospitals; Dickson Co. Humane Society or the First Baptist Church of Dickson.
Gerald Wayne “Cotton” Donegan, age 63 of Dickson, TN died Sunday May 17, 2020. Born in Dickson, TN he was the son of the late Odie Evert and Addie Melinda Josephine Walker Donegan and was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Wayne Donegan; sister, Mary Jo Kimbro; mother-in-law, Annemarie Lane and nephew, Brent Kimbro. Cotton was a Boilermaker with Local 455 and he retired from TVA. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dickson and attended the Odds and Ends Sunday School Class.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Lane Donegan of Dickson, TN; brother, Danny Donegan (Angie) of Dickson, TN; father-in-law, Stanley Lane of Dickson, TN; sister-in-law, Rebecca Bone of Dickson, TN; brothers-in-law, Billy Lane (Fe) of Florida, Richard Kimbro of Goodlettsville, TN; nieces, Teresa Culbreath, Kim Terrett, Elyse Humphreys; several great nieces and great nephews and many special friends.
