Gladys Estell Neblett Hickerson, age 80 of Dickson, formerly of Nashville and White Bluff, died on September 15, 2011. She was born on November 19, 1930 in Dickson County. She was a Daughter of the late Lewis Mitchell Neblett and the late Tessie Lucille Harper. She is survived by her 4 Sons, James Gary Hickerson of Dickson, Robert Jerry Hickerson of Nashville, Charles Mitchell of South Carolina, William Michael Hickerson of Dickson; Daughter, Melissa Henry of Dickson; Sister, Anna Belle Vetter of White Bluff; 6 Grandchildren, Kerry Uhles, Charles Hickerson Jr., Billy Rockey, Christopher Hickerson, Carl Michael Hickerson, Cherish Cochran; 2 Step-Grandchildren, Jeremy Henry, Andrew Henry; 10 Great Grandchildren; Life Long Friends, Mary Alice Martin, Myrtle Sampley, and friends of Leah Rose. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Carl Hickerson Sr.; her children, Barbara Jene Hickerson, Larry Hickerson, Barry Hickerson, and Wendell Hickerson. A funeral service for Mrs. Hickerson was held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:30pm at the Taylor Funeral Home with a eulogy given by Tommy Marvin and Carolyn Hickerson. Burial followed in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Dickson Healthcare and Alive Hospice.
