va Dell Tidwell, age 79 of Dickson, passed April 19, 2023 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center. She will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
Born in Dickson, Iva Dell was the daughter of the late Aaron Paul and Mary Bell Christian Petty. Now retired, she previously worked in the Dietary Department at the former Goodlark Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Danny Griffin, Dickson; a brother, Donald Eugene Petty (Priscilla), Dickson; and a sister, Mattie Pauline “Polly” Russell, Dickson. She was preceded by a brother, George Buford Petty.
