A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Mr. Jack Tucker, age 80 of Dickson, TN died on November 25, 2018 at the Horizon Medical Center.
Mr. Tucker was born on March 30, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a son of the late Clem and Martha Slevin Tucker. He graduated from Sam Houston State University and joined the United States Army. Jack served his Country during the Vietnam War as a huey pilot and was honorably discharged as a Captain. Following his military service, he moved to middle Tennessee. Jack worked in the Dickson community as a State Farm Insurance Agent for nearly 30 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Jack was a loving father and is survived by his son, William Tucker of Dickson, TN; his daughter, Tracey Emmons of North Carolina; the mother of his children, Sondra Tucker of Dickson, TN; his grandchildren, Sarah Tucker, and Maggie Emmons.
