Funeral services will be Sunday January 10, 2021 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Monroe Hargrove officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with family will be Saturday January 9, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM.
James Patrick “Diamond Jim” Simpson, age 69 of White Bluff, TN died Wednesday January 6, 2021. Born in Detroit, MI he was the son of the late George Lyle and Mary Margaret Tree Simpson and was preceded in death by his nephew, John Goldtrap and brother, Charles Lyle Simpson, Sr. He retired from Ford Glass Plant.
Survivors include his brother, Monroe Hargrove (Christie) of White Bluff, TN; daughter, Carrie Michelle Wagner; grandchildren, Brittney Marcinko, Abigail Lalap; nephews, Brenton Haggard, Sean Conner, Domnick Dile, Monroe Hargrove, Jr.; brother, Robert William Simpson; sister, Gloria Simpson Keeten (James); several other nieces and nephews.
