Funeral services will be Sunday November 11, 2018 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Jackson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday November 11th from 12 PM until time of service with a Masonic service to start at 2 PM.
Mr. James Robert “JR” Spann, Jr. age 92 of Fairview, TN died Wednesday November 7, 2018. Born in Dickson County he was the son of the late James Robert Spann, Sr. and Elizabeth Inez Walton Spann and was preceded in death by his wife, Syble Gilbert Spann. JR was the Owner/Operator of Spann Trucking Co. He was a member of the Fidelity Masonic Lodge #558 F&AM of Chattanooga with over 50 years membership. JR was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Patrick Lynn Spann (Stacey) of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Peggy Spann Williams of Ringgold, GA; brother, Bobby Spann; sisters, Nannie Wills of Charlotte, TN, Tiny Spann; 4 grandchildren, Cynthia “Cindy” Ward, Victoria “Vicky” Pinn, Lexie Spann, Todd Souza; 2 great grandchildren, Kiya Ward, Jayden Ward; several nieces and nephews.
