A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 4PM until 6PM at the Taylor Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the American Kidney Foundation.
Jeff Cavender, a beloved brother and uncle, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024. Born and raised in the heart of Dickson, Tennessee, he was a proud graduate of the Dickson County High School Class of 1983.
Jeff was known for his kind and considerate nature, always offering a warm smile and a helping hand. His generosity and unwavering support touched the lives of many through his work in and around the community. Most recently, he was a dedicated employee of the Tennessee Department of Transportation, serving the community with passion and commitment.
A lifelong resident of Dickson, Jeff had a deep love for his hometown. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, often enjoying the open road and the thrill of the ride. A die-hard UT Vols football fan, Jeff cheered on his beloved team with unwavering loyalty.
He is survived by his brother; Jason Cavender of Dickson, TN, his uncle; Randel Lamastus of Dickson, TN, his niece; Tessa Cavender of Dickson, TN, his nephew; Ryan Cavender of Dickson, TN, and his special friend; Rachel Jackson, of Charlotte, TN.
