Mrs. Jewel Ellis, age 82 of Dickson, TN died Friday, October 18, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 from 2 PM until 8 PM and Monday beginning at 10 AM until time of service. Funeral services for Jewell Ellis will be conducted Monday afternoon, Oct. 21, 2013 at 3 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Tommy Marvin giving her eulogy. Place of rest will be in the Edgewood Cemetery. For those desiring Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or to the Edgewood Cemetery Fund.
Mrs. Ellis was a retired longtime employee with Walmart and the former Kuhns and Big K. She had some 35 years of service. Born in Dickson County she was the daughter of the late Roby and Alma Hamilton Bradford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh James Ellis who died in 1997, Brothers and Sisters; Donald, Ruel, Betty and Polly. She was of the Methodist Faith.
Survivors include Her Children , Robert Wayne Ellis and his Wife, Rhonda of Murfreesboro, TN, Donna Parchment and her husband, Terry of Dickson, TN ; Her Two Grandsons , Chris Parchment and his wife, Kylea of Dickson, TN and Jason Parchment of Dickson, TN ; Her Three Great Grandsons , Ellis, Emmitt and Eizach ; Her Brother , Kenneth Dale Bradford and his wife, Maggie of Clarksville, TN ; Several nieces and nephews.
