Funeral services for Joe Robert Spann, age 71 of Burns, Tn will be conducted Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at 12 Noon from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Riley officiating. Place of rest will be in the Jackson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thurs. Nov. 7th from 12 Noon until 8 PM. Services under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Mr. Spann, a machinist, died Nov. 6, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center after a brief stay. Born in Dickson County, he was the son of the late Robert Leon and Mabel Spann. He was married to the former Vivian Ann Sykes.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Spann of Burn,Tn, His Sons; Gary Lynn Spann and wife, Stacy and Troy Lane Spann and wife, Davette all of Dickson Tn. His Three Grandchildren, Fancy Lyn Spann, Nicholas Graham Spann and Madison Page Spann, His Great Grandchild, emma Grace Kelly, His Brothers; James William Spann and wife, Carolyn and Barry Eugene Spann and wife, Beth all of Charlotte,Tn, Several nieces and nephews.
