John Thomas “Tommy” Moss, age 81 of Bon Aqua, TN died on August 29, 2017. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 4pm until 8pm. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Warren officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Union Cemetery. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Moss was born February 27, 1936 in Dickson, TN. He was a son of the late Newt D. Moss and Mary Ellen Bishop Moss Yates. He served his Country in the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman Dog Handler. He retired as a pipefitter from Caterpillar in Peoria, IL with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his companion of 17 years, Charlotte Smith of Bon Aqua, TN; his sister, Nola Sidwell of White Bluff, TN; his half-sisters, Pat Buchanan (Larry) of Bon Aqua, TN, and Sarah Sims (Chip) of Murfreesboro, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
