Funeral services for Mr. John Wayne Adams, age 60 of Burns were held Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Miller officiating. Place of rest is in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Adams died Sunday June 22, 2014 at his home. Born in Mobile, AL he was the son of the late Ben and Raye Seay Adams. He worked as an Instructor for Chevron and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He attended the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Johnson Adams of Burns; son, Benjamin Adams of Pensacola, FL; daughters, Stacey Adams of Palm Coast, FL, Whitney Adams of Burns; grandchildren, Devyn Adams and Jaslyn Rios; brothers, Tommy Adams, Ronnie Adams, Donnie Adams and Mike Adams all of Mobile, AL; sisters, Linda Wilson, Martha Fredricks, Wanda Brunett and Janet Garies all of Mobile, AL; several nieces and nephews.
