Born in Dickson, TN he was the son of Jimmy Leon Owens and Barbara Hollis. He worked as a Garbage Truck Driver.
Survivors include his daughter, Abby Pierce (Brandon) of Norfolk, VA; mother, Barbara Hollis & step-father, John Beasley of Lyles, TN; father, Leon Owens of Primm Springs, TN; brother, Joe Hollis of Bon Aqua, TN; sister, Jennifer Owens of Lyles, TN; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
