Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Manley, age 70 of McEwen were held Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Farris officiating. Place of rest is in the Wills Cemetery.
Mrs. Manley died Thursday September 25, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center. Born in Dickson, TN, she was the daughter of the late Roy Jackson and Lyda Bell Cox Donegan and was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Ray Donegan. She had worked as a Mail Carrier and also at Camp Garner’s Creek. Joyce was a member of the Hurricane Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Manley, Sr. of McEwen; son, Wayne Manley, Jr. (Tonya) of McEwen; daughters, Regina Harrington (Leon) of Lyles, Cynthia Duncan (Bill Hoard) of McEwen; brothers, Larry Donegan of Charlotte, Rick Donegan, Bill Donegan (Becky), Jim Donegan all of Dickson; sisters, Vivian Welch, Wanda Clabo (Jimmy), Rebecca Gentry (Wayne), Linda Manley (Tommy), Ruby Haddix (Tommy) all of Dickson; 5 grandchildren, Chasity Weatherspoon (Tony) of Nunnley, Lacey Cathey of Lyles, Kourtney Duncan of Morristown, Izzy Manley and Jake Manley of McEwen; 6 great grandchildren, Zoe Weatherspoon, Cadie King, Makayla Cathey, Allie Cathey, Gabby Cathey, Lewis Cathey; several nieces and nephews.
