Joyce Reilly Fling Van Waes, age 84, of McEwen, TN, passed away peacefully in her home on August 6, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 7, 1938, in Ida, Michigan, to the late Roland and Gertrude Kirkman Reilly.
Ms. Van Waes found great joy in living out in the woods, surrounded by nature. Most of all, she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband: Donald Fling; her second husband: Richard Van Waes; and a brother: Richard Reilly.
Survivors include her son: Tim Fling (Mary) of McEwen; her brothers: Robert Reilly (Dort) of Ida, Michigan, and James Reilly of Monroe, Michigan; her grandchildren: Jedidiah Fling of Thayer, MO, Thomas Fling (Mariah) of Kansas City, MO, and Zachary Fling (Ashley) of Picayune, MS; and one great-grandchild: Valerie Fling.
