Mrs. Julie Snead, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on December 26, 2024, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was born to Lillian Sayan and the late Melvin Sayan in Long Island, New York.
Julie was married to the love of her life, Mr. Keith Snead for over 39 years. Together, they provided care and wellness to their local community in Nashville. Julie’s commitment to her work and the well-being of others was amazing.
Raised in South Florida, Julie developed a deep love for the beaches and cuisine of Florida. She cherished traveling back there to visit and enjoy its coastal beauty. Julie had a true passion for food and wine, especially preparing meals and savoring a glass of wine while doing so. What brought her the most joy, however, was cooking for her family, who were the center of her world. Spending time with them, whether at home, shopping or while traveling, was one of her greatest pleasures. An avid collector of wine, Julie loved collecting and receiving bottles from around the world as keepsakes from her friend’s and family’s travels. Her passion for life extended to her love of the ocean, and a special fondness for bright pink flamingos, seahorses, cardinals, and her pet chickens. Julie enjoyed bonding with her family in many ways, from mani-pedi sessions with her mom to antique-shopping adventures in search of hidden treasures.
One of Julie’s greatest accomplishments was her loving family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She embraced life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was around the dinner table or on an unforgettable journey.
Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Keith of Gallatin; son, Keith, Jr. of Hendersonville; daughter, Courtney of Hendersonville; mother, Lillian of Gallatin; grandchildren, Triston, Liam, Bella, Keith III, and Ryland; brothers, Dougie of Palm Bay, FL; sisters, Sherry of Rockledge, FL, and Jamie of Gallatin, TN.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
