Kenneth Dewayne “Kenny” Bishop, age 64 of Burns, passed from this life on December 27, 2025, in his home. He was born on February 5, 1961, to Carl “Gene” Bishop and the late Hazel Elizabeth Spann Bishop. Kenny was a self-employed truck driver and operator for many years.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Eddie Bishop and Debbie Cathey.
Survivors include his daughter: Nina Bishop (James) of Cumberland Furnace; his father: Carl “Gene” Bishop of Burns; his partner: Glenna Mathis of Burns; his siblings: David Bishop (Gena), Jeffrey Bishop, and Connie Guthrie, all of Burns; and a nephew: Dustin Bishop (Ashley) of Kentucky.
Kenny’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no formal services planned at this time.

I am so sorry for your lost Glenna. The love of your life and your best friend. He was one of the hardest working man I know. There is so much I could say about Kenny. He had a big heart and help so many. Hope he knew how much we love and will miss him.❤️❤️
