Funeral services will be Saturday April 16, 2016 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Dennie Boren officiating. Place of rest will be in the McElhiney Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday April 15th from 2 to 8 PM.
Mr. Kenneth Leon “Fuzzy” McElhiney, age 77 of Dickson died Wednesday April 13, 2016. Born in Dickson County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Fannie Brazzell McElhiney and was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Bob McElhiney. Fuzzy was a jack of all trades and has worked as a mechanic and in construction most of his life and he was one of the founding members of the TN City Fire Department and was instrumental in making it the department it is today.
Survivors include his wife, Gelena McElhiney of Dickson; son, Jeff McElhiney (Rebecca) of Dickson; grandsons, Justin McElhiney, Blake McElhiney; nieces, Gretta Harp of White Bluff, Cindy Bullington of Indian Trail, NC, Lynn Bibee of Monroe, NC; Jennifer Holloway of Indian Trail, NC; several great nieces and nephews.
