Funeral services for Larry Christopher “Chris” Rodgers, age 40 of Burns will be conducted Friday July 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Melton officiating.Visitation with the family will be Thursday July 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Fund. Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Larry Christopher “Chris” Rodgers died Wednesday July 3, 2013 at NHC Health Care. Born in Nashville he was the son of Larry and Barbara McClearen Rodgers of Burns. He worked as a Plumbers helper and attended the Baptist Church.
Along with his parents he is survived by his daughters, Tori Rodgers and Britney Rodgers both of Burns; sisters, Juanita Jones of Savannah, GA, Denise Baker and her husband Chas of Millersport, OH; many other family members.
