Funeral services will be Saturday February 21, 2026 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Friday February 20th from 4 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 11 AM until time of service.
Laura Ann Springer Kimbro, age 96 of Dickson, TN passed away Wednesday February 18, 2026. Born in Dickson, TN on July 7, 1929 she was the daughter of the late George and Lizzie Baker Springer and was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Austin Ward Kimbro and her siblings. She worked as a secretary at Henry I. Seigel factory where she met the love of her life, Austin Ward Kimbro. They were married on July 1, 1953. She enjoyed time with her family and raising a vegetable garden that she shared with others. She took pride in her beautiful flowers, enjoyed quilting and preparing delicious meals. Laura always looked forward to everyday moments and holidays with her family and friends. She attended Eno Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Kimbro (Lisa) of Dickson, TN; daughter, Glenda Rogers (Steve) of Erin, TN; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Ross (Bryan), Leslie Lee (Jeremy), Cody Kimbro (Kelly), Murphy Rogers, Sarah Rogers, Jacob Murphy and Haley Kozeluh (James); 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
