Funeral services for LaVerne Foster Derryberry, age 90 of Dickson were conducted Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Ron Robertson officiating. Place of rest is in the Union Cemetery. LaVerne, a retired sales lady, died late Friday December 21, 2012 at N.H.C. Health Care in Dickson. A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Nelson Foster and Voicie Thomas Robertson Foster.
She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Susan Derryberry. LaVerne was a retired sales lady for Hodges Jewelers and was a member of the Dickson First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her aunt, Estelle Robertson of Huntingdon, TN; several cousins.
