Funeral services will be held, Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 1PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, beginning at 11am until the time of service. Don Myatt, Landon Stockman and Tommy Marvin will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery.
For those desiring, memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital.
Leamon Kenneth Baker, age 80, of Vanleer, TN passed away on March 6, 2024, at NHC. Leamon was born on July 26, 1943, in Dickson County to the late George Leamon and Lillian Hassell Baker. He had worked for the State of TN for many years as a Facility Surveyor/ Inspector. He was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a man who valued friendship. Above all, he will be remembered as a good provider and a hard-working family man.
He is survived by his wife: Ann E. Winstead Baker of Vanleer, TN, his son: Kenneth Wayne Baker (Penny) of Charlotte, TN, his granddaughter; Sierra Wenck (Joey) of Dickson, TN, and great-grandchildren; Issac, Levi, and Zoe Wenck.
