Memorial services for Mr. Leamon Tidwell, age 70 of Dickson was held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Independent Gospel Church with Bro. Max Lankford officiating.
Mr. Tidwell died Friday September 27, 2013 at St. Thomas-West. Born in Dickson County, he was the son of the late Eugene and Dolly Tucker Tidwell and was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hood Tidwell; sons, Dewayne Tidwell and Jefferey Tidwell; daughter, Juanita Tidwell; brothers, Ray, Marshall, Eugene, Neil, Jerry, Raymond and Bobby Tidwell. He worked as a Carpet Mechanic and Salesman for Dickson Floor Coverings and was the Pastor of Independent Gospel Church.
Survivors include his son, Robert Tidwell of Dickson; daughter-in-law, Paula Tidwell of Dickson; brothers, Ronnie, Wayne, Bubba, Larry and Tommy Tidwell; sisters, Sue, Deborah, Trish, Gayle and Billie Tidwell; grandsons, Jason, Jeremy and Eli Tidwell; granddaughter, Peyton Tidwell; great grandchildren, Hayden Tidwell, Mariah Tidwell, Cameron Tidwell, Kaylee Terlecki, John Terlecki V; several nieces and nephews.
