Funeral services will be Friday June 10, 2016 at 1 PM at New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. James Parham officiating. Place of rest will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday June 9th from 4 to 8 PM at the church and on Friday from 11 AM until time of service. Those desiring memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Lora Tidwell Pendergrass, age 85 of Bon Aqua died Tuesday June 7, 2016. Born in Dickson County she was the daughter of the late Miller and Rosie Deal Tidwell and was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Henry Pendergrass. She was a homemaker and loved working on the farm. Mrs. Pendergrass was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Michael Pendergrass & his wife Anita of Dickson; sisters, Betty Mangrum, Jeanette Underhill, Lois Harris, Dolly Tidwell all of Bon Aqua, Gerlene Matson of Detroit, MI, Nita Sanders of Cuba Landing, Rita Cannon of Nashville; grandchildren, Brandon Pendergrass, Brooke Gibson, Carina Larkins, Lauren Michelsen; great grandchildren, Bella Gibson, Avery Gibson; several nieces and nephews.
